　　老年人口日益增加会给社会带来很多压力

　　（1）增加医疗压力——老年人的身体容易出现毛病，老年人一增加，医院则更可能人满为患，可能导致医生无暇照顾到这么多病人。

　　（2）社会养老负担加重——因为政府需要发放退休金、医疗补贴等等，政府需要支付的资金非常大额；年轻人的养老负担会很重，可能会出现一对夫妇需要赡养四个老人的情况。

　　（3）社会劳动力不足——老年人的劳动能力退化，无法承担劳力活动，也无法进行长时高压的脑力作业，可能会导致社会发展的节奏下降。

　　老年人的增长有一定的益处

　　（1）对于家庭来说，退休老人能解决年轻人很多后顾之忧。①退休生活很清闲，因此有时间和精力照顾小朋友，从而不需要花费资金来请保姆；②可以照顾年轻人的饮食生活，帮忙打理家务，因为大部分年轻人忙于事业，无暇顾及家务和健康饮食。

　　（2）通过延长退休年龄来缓解社会劳动力紧缺的问题。老年人的工作经验非常丰富，还是能够为社会贡献自己的力量。比如，年纪大的医生由于接触过非常多的病例，能够驾轻就熟地找出病症所在。
