Describe a public place that you think needs improvements
You should say:
What the place is?
When you go there?
What you like in the public place?
And explain why you think it needs improvements?
Well I’d like to talk about a shopping center that should be improved. It’s located in the city center besides Guangzhou sports stadium, and I guess it could be one of the oldest shopping centers in our city.
Actually I used to go there quite often, I remember walking around there with my friends for the first time, which was quite eye-opening. There are almost 200 shops in it, so we could find everything we need there, like food court, clothes shops, you name it.
Personally I’m really into hanging out there, cos there are lots of foodie gems, which means I can have some culinary delight there. And the local snacks there are absolutely the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten. Besides, when I don’t need to make ends meet, I may go there to try on and buy some eye-catcher clothes.
Unfortunately it doesn’t hook most young people, I guess it’s mainly because the interior design is getting too old for them. What’s more, you can’t find a guiding map anywhere. I mean, unless you’re a regular there, it’s not convenient to find the shops you need. So I suppose if these shops could be rearranged, it may make things easier for customers.
